Train with an Olympian - Olympic Silver Medalist - Elizabeth Manley

Skate Thompson proudly hosted a Train with an Olympian seminar on November 29, 2025, featuring Elizabeth Manley. A celebrated Canadian figure skater, Elizabeth competed for 40 years, participated in two Olympic Games and six World Championships, earned three National Titles, and became the 1988 Olympic Freestyle Champion.

Beyond her athletic achievements, Elizabeth brought her expertise as a Certified Life/Executive Coach and her powerful voice as a mental health advocate. She has spent nearly three decades speaking to schools, corporations, and national organisations about leadership, resilience, change, and wellbeing.

Her visit provided our skaters with an unforgettable opportunity to learn from one of Canada’s most influential figures in sport and mental health, making this event a standout moment in our Club’s history.
